Shumaila Vocational Institute (SVI) is a community-based NGO and vocational training center in Saeedabad, Baldia Town, Karachi. We focus on empowering women and girls through education, skills training, and community awareness programs. Since our founding, SVI has provided a safe space for women to learn marketable skills, gain confidence, and work toward financial independence. Our motto is to empower women through skills and promote cottage industry for sustainable livelihoods. We blend a nonprofit mission with an entrepreneurial spirit – equipping women with vocational skills and also helping them showcase and sell their handmade products.
